The manufacturing process begins as the logs are peeled, graded and hand sanded. The pre-construction process of your log building takes several months to complete and allows you to see the finished product before it is moved. Upon completion, the log shell is numbered, disassembled, and loaded on a truck for transport to your building site. Once on-site, your building is then reassembled and prepared for roofing.
Dalton Log Shells is presently seeking custom orders for up-scale log buildings for 2011. Orders must be booked a year in advance so that we can hand select the premium logs for the construction of your log home or building.
